Industry Expert & Bank Technology Architect
Chuck is responsible for leading our Tier 1 financial services firms in the development of strategic business planning and technology architectures
to support their organization and business unit strategies.
Chuck has extensive experience working with senior executives in both Tier 1 financial services companies and technology firms in the U.S. leading
them in the development of enterprise architecture, marketing strategies, implementation approaches, and IT governance. He has been published in
multiple industry publications and also served the following national technology leadership organizations in various capacities:
- Banking Industry Technology Secretariat (BITS) – Former Board Member
- Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC) – Former Member
- Compaq Critical Computing Customer Council – Former Member
Chuck was the Senior Vice President at Bank of America responsible for their Enterprise Technical Architecture in support of enterprise business units.
He managed 11 officers involved in emerging technologies such as multi-tier distribution, middleware, computer telephony, networks and system management
platforms and enterprise messaging to name a few. He was responsible for the 100+ page baseline strategy published with the appropriate refresh process
defined and utilized by the bank. The projected savings to the bank were in excess of $20 million.
Chuck was Business Development Manager for the Americas Financial Services Industry Marketing group at Hewlett-Packard Company where he was responsible
for go-to-market activities for Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets and Payments, with a major emphasis on alliance partners.
He has also served as a senior technology officer in several regional and national banks, including the roles of CIO; Group Executive for Operations and
Technology; Senior Vice President for emerging technology; and Manager, enterprise architecture. Chuck has also served as a delivery manager for a global
outsourcing firm, managing their largest U.S. client.
Chuck attended The Ohio State University, Otterbein College, and holds an M.B.A from the University of Miami in Florida.
